Here at Van Isle Beauty Co. we LOVE our Eminence Organic Skincare Line. We have come up with a protocol we like to follow for a Deluxe Dermaplaning facial.
- Neroli Age Corrective Hydrating Mist: An initial first step to remove surface impurities, makeup and also tone the skin
- Dermaplaning: For physical exfoliation and hair removal
- Calm Skin Chamomile Exfoliating Peel: For further dissolution of dead skin cells and to balance the look of skin
- Yellow Sweet Clover Anti-Redness Masque: To address the appearance of red or irritated dry skin
- Stone Crop Serum: An intense hydrator to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and dark spots
- Hibiscus Ultra Lift Eye Cream: To reduce the appearance of darkness, fine lines and puffiness in the eye area.
- Stone Crop Hydrating Gel: Finishes the facial with instant, deep-penetrating moisture to leave skin with a smooth matte finish.
Post Care
The most important thing to keep in mind is that your skin will be significantly more sensitive to the sun and other environmental variables following a dermaplane facial. This is true for every facial, but it's crucial following a dermaplane facial because a deeper level of exfoliation has taken place. To keep your skin glowing and healthy, be sure to apply SPF protection to your face as soon as the treatment is finished and to reapply frequently.

Van Isle Beauty is an accredited lash extension academy dedicated to helping you kick-start your lash career. As salon-owners ourselves and with over 15 years experience in the lash industry, you can train alongside industry experts, have the opportunity to try your hand at practical application on models and be welcomed into a blooming Lash community.
Course Information
Our Classic EyeLash Extension Course is a two day in-person training event with an optional third day to cover Hybrid Eyelash Extension training. Each highly-qualified & experienced trainer hosts small groups of up to four to give as much one-on-one, personal support as possible. You can learn alongside the best in the industry, in a group environment where there is plenty of time for questions and to learn the best-kept industry secrets.
The course includes a comprehensive Classic Lash Extension Kit (RRP: $300+) a professional-grade lash extension kit enabling you to perform up to 30 top-notch lash treatments, making it an invaluable addition to your training and practice.
The in-person training session will be hosted at Van Isle Beauty, in the heart of Nanaimo, B.C.

Two-Day Classic Lash Extensions Course
DAY 1
- 9:00 AM – Class Begins: Introduction & Theory
- 11:00 AM – Live Model Demonstration
- 12:30 – 1:15 PM – Lunch Break
- 1:15 – 3:15 PM – Practice on Mannequin
- 3:15 PM – Lash Removal, Proper Eye Pad & Tape Placement
DAY 2
- 9:00 – 12:00 PM – First Live Model Application
- 12:00 – 1:00 PM – Lunch Break
- 1:00 – 4:00 PM – Second Live Model Application
- 4:00 – 4:15 PM – Clean-Up & Q&A Session

After-Class Certification Requirements
Your learning doesn’t stop after the two-day course! To become fully certified, you’ll need to complete 6–8 additional model sets, including full sets and fills, on your own time. You’ll submit before-and-after photos of each model for your trainer to review and provide personalized feedback on.
Lash artistry is a craft that takes time, practice, and patience to master. These additional models help you refine your skills, improve your technique, and gain the confidence needed to deliver professional-quality results.
Once your trainer has reviewed and approved your work, you’ll receive your official certification, confirming that you’re ready to confidently take paying clients — whether independently or in a salon setting — and start your career as a certified lash artist.
