Some say you do not get as good of a bond then the hand-made, but you just need to make sure you are using enough adhesive and your placement is perfect and your pre-made fans should last just as long as a hand-made!

Step-by Step on How to Use Pre-made Fans

Step 1: Choose the Right Pre-Made Volume Fan

Here are some tips to help you choose the right pre-made fans:

• Consider the client's natural lashes: Before selecting pre-made fans, you should evaluate your client's natural lashes to determine the appropriate size and thickness. If the client has thin or sparse lashes, opt for smaller and lighter pre-made fans to avoid damaging their natural lashes.
• Determine the desired look: Different pre-made fans can create different lash styles, from natural-looking lashes to dramatic and voluminous lashes. For a natural look, choose pre-made fans with fewer lashes (4D-6D), while for a more dramatic look, select pre-made fans with more lashes (10D-12D).
• Choose the right curl: The curl of the pre-made fan should also be considered when choosing the right fan. If the client has straight lashes, choose a pre-made fan with a C-curl for a better bond. For those with curly natural lashes, you can use a D-Curl but place under the natural lash,

Step 2: Prepare the Lashes

Start by thoroughly cleansing and priming the client's lashes to ensure they are free of oils and debris by using a foam wash and primer. Next, select the appropriate size pre-made fan, ensuring it fits the client's lash line. Map out your desired style you want to achieve on your client.

Step 3: Apply the Fan

Using a pair of L-shaped or boot tweezers, gently lift the pre-made volume fan off the strip, either by the bottom of the base (if its off the strip) or (if the fan is on the strip), by placing your tweezer across the entire fan and lift towards you. You can then place the fan down and re-adjust your grip if you need to. Pre-made fans can only be placed on the top or bottom of the natural lash, not on the side. Your placement must be .5mm from the lash line and smack in the middle of where the natural lash is so it has even weight distribution to eliminate any twisting or falling.  Ensure the fan is securely attached and that the lashes are not sticking together.

Step 4: Repeat

Repeat this process until all lashes are complete, ensuring that each pre-made fan is placed evenly throughout the lash line.

Step 5: Finish

Once all lashes are complete, carefully brush them with a clean spoolie to ensure they are not sticking together and that they have a natural and fluffy look. Finally, provide aftercare instructions to your client to ensure their beautiful lashes last as long as possible.
