Classic Lash Extension Course
If you have no prior eyelash extension training and are ready to delve into the lash world for the first time, or have a little bit of experience with classic lashes but need a better understanding of the lash extension fundamentals… you have come to the right place!
Van Isle Beauty is an accredited lash extension academy dedicated to helping you kick-start your lash career. As salon-owners ourselves and with over 15 years experience in the lash industry, you can train alongside industry experts, have the opportunity to try your hand at practical application on models and be welcomed into a blooming Lash community.
Course Information
Our Classic EyeLash Extension Course is a two day in-person training event with an optional third day to cover Hybrid Eyelash Extension training. Each highly-qualified & experienced trainer hosts small groups of up to four to give as much one-on-one, personal support as possible. You can learn alongside the best in the industry, in a group environment where there is plenty of time for questions and to learn the best-kept industry secrets.
The course includes a comprehensive Classic Lash Extension Kit (RRP: $300+) a professional-grade lash extension kit enabling you to perform up to 30 top-notch lash treatments, making it an invaluable addition to your training and practice.
The in-person training session will be hosted at Van Isle Beauty, in the heart of Nanaimo, B.C.

Two-Day Classic Lash Extensions Course
DAY 1
- 9:00 AM – Class Begins: Introduction & Theory
- 11:00 AM – Live Model Demonstration
- 12:30 – 1:15 PM – Lunch Break
- 1:15 – 3:15 PM – Practice on Mannequin
- 3:15 PM – Lash Removal, Proper Eye Pad & Tape Placement
DAY 2
- 9:00 – 12:00 PM – First Live Model Application
- 12:00 – 1:00 PM – Lunch Break
- 1:00 – 4:00 PM – Second Live Model Application
- 4:00 – 4:15 PM – Clean-Up & Q&A Session
DAY 3 (Optional Hybrid Day)

After-Class Certification Requirements
Your learning doesn’t stop after the two-day course! To become fully certified, you’ll need to complete 6–8 additional model sets, including full sets and fills, on your own time. You’ll submit before-and-after photos of each model for your trainer to review and provide personalized feedback on.
Lash artistry is a craft that takes time, practice, and patience to master. These additional models help you refine your skills, improve your technique, and gain the confidence needed to deliver professional-quality results.
Once your trainer has reviewed and approved your work, you’ll receive your official certification, confirming that you’re ready to confidently take paying clients — whether independently or in a salon setting — and start your career as a certified lash artist.
