Before beginning your Advanced Volume Lash journey, students must already hold a Classic Lash certification. This foundation ensures you’re confident in lash fundamentals and ready to master more advanced techniques.

The Advanced Volume Course includes access to detailed online learning materials that cover everything you need to know before class — including fan weight, fan width, and lash styling concepts that are essential for creating balanced, customized volume sets. You’ll also learn five professional fan-making techniques, helping you develop precision, control, and consistency in your work.

It’s important to complete the online modules before your in-person training, so you arrive prepared to focus on hands-on practice, live feedback, and advanced artistry.

Students are responsible for arranging their own models for the hands-on portion of the course. We highly recommend choosing someone you know personally so you feel comfortable working with them and can rely on them to arrive on time. Your model plays a key role in your training experience, so please ensure they understand the class time, location, and any important pre-appointment instructions—such as arriving makeup-free, avoiding caffeine, or following any prep steps specific to the course.

If you’re unable to find a model, we can provide one for a $50 fee per model, which goes directly to the model. Please note that if your model cancels last minute or doesn’t show up, your class cannot be cancelled, rescheduled, or refunded.

We recommend utilizing your social media platforms to ask friends, family, or clients if they’d like to volunteer—this is a great way to find reliable models who already support your work. If you’re still having trouble finding someone, please reach out to us. We’re happy to share information about local Facebook groups in Nanaimo that we’ve used successfully in the past for finding models.
